Project description

This project will characterise some of the parasitism proteins of H. schachtii, one of these is an ubiquitin-extension protein that is produced in the dorsal gland and secreted into the plant root. Ubiquitin is involved in many different processes, among which cell cycle regulation might be an important element in the induction of a nematode feeding cell in plant roots.
