Project description
Necrotic cell death occurs during viral infection, organ transplantations and infarction, and is dependent on the kinase-activity of Receptor Interacting Protein (RIP1).The aim of this project is to identify specific substrates (phospho-specific MS analysis and peptide-array) and interactors (co-immunoprecipitation of RIP1 from necrotic cells) of RIP1. These experiments will provide us with a better insight in the necrotic signal transduction cascade.
