Project description

1. To analyze dairy value chain in order to identify and prioritize chain integration constraints and come up with strategies for leveraged interventions.

2. To assess factors influencing dairy farmers‟ milk sales decision and access to alternative milk market outlet choices.

  • Determinants of dairy farmers‟ access to different milk markets identified.
  • Different milk markets and outlets and their incentives/or disincentives analysed and documented.

 

3. To identify the determinants of participation decision and level of participation of farmers and other chain actors in dairy producer or marketing associations/cooperatives.
