Anne van Driessche is a postdoctoral researcher at the End-of-Life Care Research Group (VUB and Ghent University). She obtained her PhD with a randomized controlled trial evaluating the effectiveness of a communication intervention on advance care planning (ACP) for adolescents with cancer and their parents. Her research interests lie at the intersection of pediatrics, oncology, quality of life, communication, and palliative care. She has a strong affinity for mixed-methods research and for developing and evaluating interventions that aim to improve clinical practice.
