Simon Geiregat is fulltime onderzoeksprofessor (docent BOF-TT) aan Universiteit Gent en parttime universitair docent aan Tilburg University. Hij doceert intellectuele eigendomsrecht. Zijn onderzoek heeft voornamelijk betrekking op auteursrecht en op de grens tussen de intellectuele rechten en digitale technologie.
