Greet Angèle De Baets is a business communication teacher and researcher. Her research aims to make sense of intercultural business communication training based on aikido, a Japanese martial art, as embodied pedagogy. She worked in the industry as a translator, language teacher, training coordinator, and communication trainer for private companies and public institutions. The geographical area covered included Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany with participants often coming from all countries of the European Union. She also coached many Japanese and some South Korean ex-pats working in Belgium.
