Bio
Frauke Vervaeke is a doctoral researcher at the Linguistics Department of Ghent University, where she is also a member of the MULTIPLES and GLIMS research groups. She obtained a MA in Linguistics and Literature (2022) at the university of Ghent and an advanced MA in Linguistics (2023) at the University of Leuven. From 1 October 2023 onwards, she is working as a PhD researcher on a BOF research project (supervisors: Prof. dr. Anne-Sophie Ghyselen and Prof. dr. Timothy Colleman). The project maps the mental representation of pluricentricity in the Dutch language area by empirically studying perceptions of and attitudes towards national grammatical and lexical variation.
