Description
PIXLES is an interdisciplinary knowledge platform and research consortium with a focus on current societal dilemma’s and developments in the context of privacy, information exchange, law enforcement & surveillance. The core value of PIXLES is to safeguard privacy while enhancing security. The scientific goal of the consortium is to foster knowledge pooling, expert dialogues, research projects and the organization of a bi-annual international privacy conference. The societal mission is to foster the valorization, social visibility and impact of research results, specifically by advising and supporting policy-makers, enforcement agencies, industry and civil society to design and implement solutions that reconcile data processing, information exchange, monitoring and data analysis with the fundamental rights of data subjects and citizens.
