Description
The Institute for Private International Law : (1) aims to increase the knowledge of private international law; (2) wants to contribute with fundamental and societally relevant research to the further development and critical evaluation of this field of law. The central research line of the Institute is 'Persons and Families Beyond Borders'. The Institute publishes the bilingual journal 'Tijdschrift@ipr.be / Revue@dipr.be' and provides a database on case law. The Institue is part of the Cross-Border Legal Studies Network.
