Description
The Ghent European Law Institute researches legal developments in the EU integration process. Specific attention is devoted to the legal framework of the EU's external action, including various aspects involving questions of the EU as an internationallegal actor, vertical and horizontal competence delimitation, substantive analyses of bilateral and multilateral relations between the EU and third countries or international organisations and the legal dimension of EU policies such as EU enlargementand the European Neighbourhood Policy. In addition, other dimensions of EU law, such institutional and constitutional law, internal market law and competition law, are also part of the research agenda.
