Description
The Ghent University Laboratory for Environmental Toxicology (GhEnToxLab) aims to advance the understanding of environmental and ecotoxicological problems and processes across all levels of biological organisation (from genomes and cells to populations and ecosystems). Through training and education of environmental scientists at both Master, PhD and postdoc level along this general research line and through open communication of research results to industry and policy-makers, we ultimately aim to improve the ecological relevance of environmental risk assessment of chemicals and other natural and anthropogenic stressors and to support science-based environmental quality management and policy.
