Description
Our vision at ECoBird is to promote a deeper understanding of the lives of birds by bridging the gap between ecology, cognitive psychology and behavioural biology. Our research efforts range from the dense canopies of tropical forests to urban landscapes, and aim to unravel how birds adapt, survive and thrive in a variety of environments. At the heart of ECoBird is a commitment to excellence in research and education. Our projects are designed not only to advance scientific knowledge, but also to address critical environmental challenges affecting bird populations worldwide. Through a blend of field studies, laboratory experiments and theoretical modelling, we seek to unravel the complex interactions between birds, their habitats and human societies.
