The members of GIKS are drawn from the departments of Archaeology, Literary Studies, Linguistics, History of Law, Philosophy and History. Their expertise covers the Greek and Roman world in all its aspects from its beginnings to its reception in the contemporary Greek world. The research group facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration, coordinates various programmes of studies, organizes research seminars and conferences, and adequately informs the wider world of its research results.
