Description
The Institute for Early Modern History (IEMH) is a UGent/VUB alliance research group linking historians of the Early Modern Period. The group organizes scientific gatherings and acts as an interactive forum for PhD students of Early Modern history. The study of the transformational processes marking the beginning and end of the period, and developments in specific social areas across the era, forms the common thread in its members' work.
