Description
The speed and extent to which new technologies are created, used and embedded in professional and private spheres continuously raise legal questions. The fundamental research conducted in the field of 'Law & Technology' focuses on understanding, interpreting and critically evaluating (1) the legal impact of technology and technology-based or technology-facilitated processes and behaviours and (2) the potential of technology to facilitate or enrich legal processes or procedures. In both strands of research, a human rights-based and interdisciplinary approach is adopted.
