The CFMP focuses on the theoretical foundations of private law and the various methods that can be used to investigate private law themes. The CFMP aims to be a platform and a breeding ground to enrich and inspire positive law research in the broad field of private law. At the same time, it wishes to stimulate discussions on the foundations of law and on legal methods that transcend private law. As a result, this Centre also works across departments.
