The Hepatology research group has two major scopes. The first is focused on pre-clinical research related to liver fibrosis/cirrhosis, portal hypertension, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The second field of interest is translational research, focused on biomarkers in liver diseases and solid organ transplantation.
