The unit Health Promotion is an expertise center that aims to promote evidence-based health promotion through academic training of health promotion professionals and through a wide range of research activities. The research unit focuses on health promotion and behavioural change in all age groups (from young children to older adults) and subgroups (overweight children, university students, social economy workers) with special attention to behavioural nutrition, physical activity, sedentary behaviour, sleep and substance use (alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs and medication use).
