Description
The research conducted by members of the social psychology section is centred along the following policy lines. Firstly, besides contributing to the solution of fundamental and theoretical problems, we believe that it is important to pay attention to the social and applied relevance of our research. Secondly, we consider social behaviour as resulting from contextual variables as well as individual differences, and hence we try to take into account the role of both types of. variables. Thirdly, we opt for a broad approach, resulting in a considerable variation both in topics and methods. This research program covers a substantial number of fields and involves experiments, vignette studies and questionnaires.
