Description
The Clinical Developmental Psychology (CCAP), part of PP07, currently consists of two ZAPPERS working together in> 8 funded projects with the aim of contributing, through globally recognized expertise, to high-quality research into the development, maintenance and influence of mental problems in children, adolescents and young adults with attention to eating, weight and nutritional problems (ACE lab), depression, behavioral problems and emotionally related problems. Attention to stressors (including social pressure), resilience, risk factors (including deficits in self-regulation, emotion regulation, learning processes, attachment) with attention to temperament, cognitive scripts, coordinated with normal development. In addition, it makes a unique contribution to the development of assessment methods and new psychological treatments for the clincal practice (including the Child & Adolescent Treatment Center: https://www.kindenadolescent.be) and through government advice.
