Description
INCAT focuses on material synthesis/development/upscaling (heterogeneous catalysts, polymer resins, adsorbents) and mapping the relationship between the material properties and performance in various sustainable and chemical applications (mainly heterogeneous catalysis and adsorption) and aims at optimizing the performance of these (functional) materials. Examples of studied chemical reactions and separation processes are: - (trans)esterification - Suzuki-cross coupling reaction - lignin depolymerisation and modification - water purification (organic components and metals) - hydrogen production - alcohol dehydratation
