Curama aims to further scientific development of management and policy in health care to facilitate and support. In the scientific development has two specific objectives: (1) Curama is a research platform that interdisciplinary cooperation between the faculties and research groups of the UGent. Inter-University and international cooperation are also amongst our goals. (2) Curama is a collaboration platform where research with practice on structural mode is realized via academic workplaces. It is possible to combine with a function in practice as science-practitioner. The research domain teaching positions itself under three research topics: (1) the domain of business economics focusing on the management of organisations; (2) the domain healthpolicy focusing on the macro level of health care; (3) the clinical domain such as medicine, nursing and behavioural sciences and health sciences.
