This interdisciplinary research group studies different aspects of infections with bacteria and fungi of veterinary and zoonotic importance. These include the interactions of these agents with their hosts and environment, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology, diagnosis and mitigation (prevention, treatment) of these infections.
