Description
The research at the Hydro-Climate Extrems Lab (H-CEL, formerly the Laboratory of Hydrology and Water Management - LHWM) comprises different areas: (1) Remote sensing observation of hydrological variables and data assimilation, (2) Physically-based modelling of surface hydrology and land-atmosphere interactions, (3) Application of advanced mathemathics to hydrology, ecology and climate, and (4) the study of global hydrology and climate from observations and models, with a main focus on extremes (droughts and floods).
