This setup can only be used by authorized personel. In view of obtaining a booking arrangement, send an email to mark.saeys@UGent.be with short explanation of the sought information/envisioned experiment. When accepted, the CF services offered include:

     - Intake

     - Experiment

     - Reporting + possible data analysis

During intake, a potential customer will be asked about the research topic of the request and the information he/she is looking for (research question). Subsequently, the most suitable equipment is chosen to provide an answer to this question (or which equipment can be most easily adapted to the needs of the potential customer) and how much time the necessary experimental research (and any changes to the setup) will require. This will depend on the nature of the reaction, the requested experimental conditions, e.g. high or low pressure, in liquid or gas, type of reactor, etc. In consultation with the setup operator and the technical coordinator, it will then be determined when the selected device can be booked for carrying out the experiments, taking into account previous reservations and planned maintenance. A work plan is provided for internal customers, with specifications of the required services. For external customers, a contract will be drawn up in which the setup, measurement time and planning are specified, together with the unit price per day of measurement time.
