Description

The Berty reactor setup embodies a Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR), which is consists of a 1.45L hollow cylinder, comprising a basket to load a solid catalyst. The maximum work temperature is 530°C, at which pressures up to 50 bar are allowed. It is possible to feed 2 gases from two different MFCs, typically N2 and H2. An HPLC pump is installed to provide a liquid feed flow to the reactor (rate: 0.002 – 2.5 mL.min-1). CH4 is added as internal standard after the reactor. A GC-FID is available for online gas analysis.
