Description

The MAXLAB is an advanced integrated system designed for the deposition and surface characterization of air-sensitive materials in an inert environment. Featuring a glovebox setup, it allows for the modification of surfaces by applying thin oxide, nitride, or metal films using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) or Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) without exposure to air. The system includes capabilities for vacuum-based deposition of hybrid/organic coatings via Molecular Layer Deposition (MLD), sulfide coatings by ALD, and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) for comprehensive surface characterization. This setup is ideal for research and collaboration in nanocoatings, particularly in nanoelectronics, Li-ion batteries, and electrocatalysts.
