Madoc as a tool to enrich and analyse sources

Madoc is an annotation- and crowdsourcing tool to enrich digital collections. It allows researchers to create custom colletions and projects around sources. Madoc is generic, flexible and user-friendly, and includes a personalized web-environment.

Madoc is driven by the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF), a standard for sharing and presenting images. The development of this open-source technology is supported by a widespread international community. IIIF allows researchers and cultural heritage institutions to share images and collections: publish once, re-use often.
