Spray tower:

SOP

In order to use the spray tower, ask for permission (if not a lab member of acarology group, Prof. Van Leeuwen, contact secretariat, 09 264 61 45)

-fill in your name in the log book

-turn on the compressor and ventilation

-before start, clean 5 x with demi water

-always close the glass door before spraying

-use always protection equipment (gloves, respiratory protection mask, lab coat)

-after use clean 5 x with demi water and 1 x ethanol or aceton

-switch off

-replace empty gloves box and tips

dispose your chemically contaminated waste:

-solid (tips, paper, filter paper, plastic) in the 60L barrel for contaminated solid waste

-liquid waste: in the 10L white jerrycan for aqueous liquids (waterige vloeistoffen) in big lab
