Description
The Institute for Social Drug Research focuses on substance use, drug policy and trafficking, regulatory models, as well as drug treatment and law enforcement by the police. The ISD explicitly adopts a social science approach. This means that the research group considers not only individual but also contextual influences on substance use. On the other hand, the social science orientation of the ISD also implies a focus on societal impact, including through policy-supporting research.
