This conference presents a paramount opportunity to bridge the cutting edges of chemical and biological sciences focused on carbon dioxide. Over the course of five days, this event will unite preeminent researchers, innovators, and experts specializing in CO2 capture, conversion, and beyond to realize dynamic collaboration and transformative ideas. Together, our aim is to collectively envisage a future in which CO2 serves as a catalyst for constructive progress in scalable solutions that will contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.
I presented a poster showcasing my recent publication "Acuña López, P.; Rebecchi, S.; Vlaeminck, E.; Quataert, K.; Frilund, C.; Laatikainen-Luntama, J.; Hiltunen, I.; De Winter, K.; Soetaert, W.K. Demonstrating Pilot-Scale Gas Fermentation for Acetate Production from Biomass-Derived Syngas Streams. Fermentation 2024, 10, 285. https://doi.org/10.3390/fermentation10060285" and shortly introducing the FUELPHORIA project (EU-funded innovation action project under Grant Agreement No 101118286).
Focus: Societal value creationHosted by The Carbon Recycling Network (BBSRC-NIBB), this three-day conference brings together academic and industrial partners to identify and address key challenges in this area of Carbon Recycling. The programme includes talks from invited speakers from academia, industry, the funding & investment community as well as from selected submitted abstracts.
I presented a poster showcasing my recent research results in biomass-derived syngas fermentation to acetate within the framework of BioSFerA project (EU-funded research and innovation project under Grant Agreement No 884208).
