Research activities conducted between 2024 and 2026 include:

(1) analysis of Indonesian media representations of Dutch state apologies for colonial-era violence;
(2) discourse analysis of public responses to the “350 years of Dutch colonization” narrative in the Indonesian digital sphere;
(3) comparative analysis of Indonesian and Dutch newspaper representations of the Banda genocide (1621) and Jan Pieterszoon Coen (1970–2025);
(4) Sociolinguistic analysis of the semantic transformation of kerko (derived from the Dutch kerkhof) in Maluku, examining the recontextualization of colonial language within contemporary usage contexts.
