soil erosion water quality sediment tracing
Bio
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow working on the EU Marie Curie AsFoRESEEN project. My main scientific interests lie in assessing the effects of land use change and climatic variability on soil erosion and transport dynamics of sediment and nutrients in complex catchments. I specialise in the application of multiple environmental diagnostic tools: soil quality, sediment source tracing, radiometric dating, sediment and nutrient flux modelling. The ultimate aim of my work is to contribute to sustainable land management plans safeguarding food security, water quality, livelihoods and biodiversity.
