Ben Buchanan is a sociologist and researcher in the end-of-life care research group. After an intensive internship as a physiotherapist during the 2020 Covid pandemic, he interrupted his training as a neurorehabilitation therapist to study health sociology at Ghent University. In 2024, Ben earned a Master's degree in Sociology with highest praise. Today, his research contributes to the CONNECT project (https://www.endoflifecare.be/connect).
