Bio
Dr Ahmed Selema joined the Department of Electromechanical, Systems, and Metal Engineering of Ghent University in October 2020. He received his PhD degree of Doctor of Electromechanical Engineering in Feb. 2024 at Ghent University. He is also a Core Lab Member of Flanders Make, the strategic research center for the manufacturing industry in Belgium. He has also been working as an E-motor research engineer in close collaboration with different industrial corporations in the Flemish region and the EU. His research interests include electrical machines, electromagnetics, material engineering, energy-efficient motor design, thermal management, and additive manufacturing.
